As part of the FUTURE project, I-SITE certified in 2017, the Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée is giving a morning presentation about two of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie programme's actions on Tuesday 17 September 2019, from 10 am to 12 noon in the auditorium of the Bibliothèque Universitaire Georges Perec (Georges Perec University Library). The "Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions" or MSCA programme is part of the European HORIZON 2020 programme for research and innovation.

Dedicated to human resources and researchers' career development, the MSCAs are becoming increasingly popular with the scientific community, owing their success to three characteristics: an open programme, training and mobility.

Five actions make up the MSCA programme. They are open to all fields of research and innovation and to researchers of all ages and skill levels, whatever their nationality. Two of them will be presented on the morning of 17 September: ITN and RISE.

  • ITN, or Innovative Training Network, aims to promote doctoral excellence among researchers at the start of their careers. The action supports joint research and/or doctoral training courses, implemented by partnerships.
  • RISE, or Research and Innovation Staff Exchange, is an action that promotes international and intersectoral (public/private) collaboration through research and staff exchanges.

The presentation will be accompanied by advice on how to improve your application, with feedback and help from the National Contact Point, which will be attending.
